Facilities
Skalanes Field Center was in built in 1926 as a farm and renovated in 2006 for it´s current mission. It is modern house, comfortable, spacious, warm with appliances and electricity for an extend. Studies, research, teaching and stays for writing are therefore not overly complicated in regards to logistics.
It is is 15km from the town of Seyðisfjörður which offers a change of scenery and some basic services for vehicles, food, groceries.
